Pennsylvania will be at the center of the political universe in 2022, featuring both a marquee Senate and Governor Race. It also features several of the most important house races in the nation. In the PA-7th and 8th, Democrats Susan Wild and Matt Cartwright are in the fight of their political lives, after their districts lurched to the right thanks to re-districting. Progressive Summer Lee could be the first Black woman in Congress from Pennsylvania if she can win in the PA-12th. Congressman Conor Lamb’s unsuccessful bid for the Senate left an open seat in the highly competitive PA-17.
