Six years ago, Catherine Cortez Masto became the first Latina Senator in American history, narrowly pulling off a victory to defeat a tough challenge from Congressman Joe Heck to win the Silver State in a year that had otherwise been full of disappointments for Demcorats. Now, she will be running for her second term against former Attorney General Adam Laxalt. This is one of the four most vulnerable seats that Democrats control that Republicans will be trying to flip in order to take the Senate Majority.
